Channing Tatum is going to be taking a break from acting to focus on his baby. According to a Feb. 1 US Weekly report, Channing is preparing for the challenges of becoming a father and is looking forward to spending time with his child.
Tatum and his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, both 32, are expecting their first child in the summer. The couple met in 2006 while working on the dance movie “Step Up” and married in 2009.
Channing starred in a whopping five films released in 2012. Tatum revealed he plans to slow down. Channing is going to try his hand at directing and focus on work with his production company.
This isn’t the first time Tatum has said he’s going to ease up on acting, but the new baby on the way might be the inspiration he needs to carry through with it.
