Channing Tatum is ‘very fat and happy’

Channing Tatum says he is “very fat and happy these days,” according to a Feb. 6 Us Weekly report. The “Magic Mike” star appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” this week, and admitted that he has put on some weight since the 2012 male stripper movie in which he showcased his sexy, shirtless body.

“What you've done since Magic Mike is now, whenever you dance, we think you're going to take your clothes off,” DeGeneres joked.

"You definitely don't want that right now,” Tatum joked back. “Right now -- what me and my wife [Jenna Dewan-Tatum] like to call it -- I am very fappy . . . I'm very fat and happy right now.”

According to the People Magazine, the “fappy” star is taking some time off work. “I've been working for two straight years, and now it's some really needed downtime,” he told DeGeneres before talking about the new addition to his family; his adorable daughter Everly.

“Ah, man. She's 8 months old now. She's saying 'Da, da, da, da, da.' I don't think she knows what it means just yet, but it doesn't matter.” As for her sleeping habits, it all comes down to the music. “She actually has better taste in music than I think I do, because she will only fall asleep to really good music,” Tatum told the audience, adding, “"She might be conceited, I'm not sure but … Prince's 'The Most Beautiful Girl in the World,' she loves falling asleep to that.”
