The last day on the 2012/2013 Eastern Maine high school basketball schedule is Friday, February 8th.
Many schools are moving games scheduled for Friday to Thursday due to an impending major winter storm.
The weather forecasters are calling for the storm to last from Friday through Saturday.
The Foxcroft Ponies boys will host Piscataquis community high school (PCHS) Thursday afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
That is a game that will have an impact on the final tourney spots in both class B and C.
The J.V. game between PCHS and Foxcroft boys will be played following the varsity game at Foxcroft Academy.
The Penobscot Valley high school (PVHS) Howlers will host Bangor Christian at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
The Old Town Coyotes at Washington Academy boys game has also moved been moved from Friday to Thursday. JV game will be at 5:30 with the varsity to follow.
George Stevens will host Sumner in a boys basketball game at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bucksport at Sumner girls basketball game got moved to 5 p.m.on Thursday.
The high school basketball tournament will start with preliminary round games on Tuesday, February 12th.
The class B quarterfinals at the Bangor Auditorium will start on Friday, February 15th.
