Change the taste of foods with aromatic flavorings

See also

When baking recipes you have two choices. First is to follow it exactly as it is write. The second is to adapt it to your likes and tastes. Some flavorings may work well in some recipes but it doesn’t quite do the trick for you.

With all the different flavorings, extracts and liquors on the market one can take a single recipe and make its taste and aroma changed dozens of time with just a switch-up of another flavor choice.

It is fun experimenting with flavors. Cookies that have been baked for decades with say, almond extract can be just as delicious and a new found favorite if you used another flavor instead. Then again maybe there are two that really sound great together and can be added simple by dividing the amount in the recipe between the two flavors.

Now the aroma of your baked goods will tantalize your sense of smell and once the confection is bitten into it will change the way you react to an old recipe with a new taste that makes it a new choice and favorite for everyone.

Here are lots of choices that you can use in your baking. Many of these are on the market and can be purchased at your local grocery store while a few may have to be mail ordered from a specialty shop. Others can be picked up at the liquor store in town. Try them out and see how many different ways you can use them when you bake and how many new tasting treats your family will enjoy.
