If you haven't yet seen Sharon Wright's video, "Change for a Dollar," you're missing out on something incredible.
Follow the journey of one homeless man as he turns a few coins into real change.
For one 35 cents cup of coffee, one 15 cents book of matches, one penny dropped strategically on the ground, 10 cents donated to a cancer patient, and a quarter for a pay phone call, one man changes at least ten lives in the space of a day.
This is a very powerful message to all of us. You don't need to be a millionaire to change someone's life.
What can a dollar buy these days? Here's a list of basic necessities one dollar can provide:

If you're feeling extra generous, Metropolitan Ministries can provide a meal to a person in need for a whopping $1.76.
Let's be real: If we wait for the politicians to stop bickering and figure out a way to actually help the people they represent, we'll be waiting a very long time. If we wait for the very wealthy to part with their riches and share with the poorest among us, we'll be waiting even longer. Some people can't wait any longer. They need a miracle, and they need it soon.
Be the miracle this Christmas. It'll only cost you a dollar.
