Bronner Bros Summer Hair Show took over Atlanta, GA this past weekend and Gospel artist Chanel of Trin-i-tee 5:7 entertained the audience with her brand of Gospel music.
The mini concert also featured TVOne's R&B Divas, Meelah and Syleena Johnson. Actor Palmer Williams took the stage to tell jokes and encourage people to watch OWN's, "Love Thy Neighbor".
Chanel Haynes recently launched a solo career with her debut CD "According To Chanel" in the fall of 2013.
Haynes says she was thrilled about the solo project.
"I am truly excited about this album for so many reasons," said Chanel. "The CD is personal to me because it's the first album where I was able to write and perform songs that were 100% "Chanel," and every single decision came from me and my company. It reminds me that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I feel so blessed and empowered to be an example to young artists who carry God- inspired dreams in their hearts."
"Every song on this CD comes from a joyful or memorable time in my life," explained Chanel. "Songs like 'Masterful,' 'Live,' 'Believe,' and 'You,' are all songs that are carved right out of my heart and soul. Each song only has one word as its title because I wanted to make sure that the focus is where it's supposed to be - on the music and lyric."
The annual hair show was held at the Georgia World Congress Center. Upscale Magazine was the hot spot as it hosted a fan meet & greet with: Andre Sinclair (MTV Are You The One?); Meelah (TV One R&B Divas/702); Syleena Johnson (TV One R&B Divas); Porsha Stewart (BRAVO Real Housewives of Atlanta); Chanel (Trin-I-tee 5:7) and Palmer Williams (OWN Tyler Perry: Love Thy Neighbor).
