This is not meant to be a downer for all the mothers out there! In fact the weather is looking overall not too bad for the second half of your week. However, a spotty shower or storm is possible.
A front barely made its way through the region on Saturday bringing showers and thunderstorms along with slightly cooler weather. With moisture still hanging tough, fog will be likely especially in the more fog prone areas around central Ohio through early morning.
We will see that fog burn off and give way to sunshine for the rest of your day. The frontal zone that moved through today will meander around Ohio through the day meaning a few pop up storms are possible. With no major disturbances riding the front, organized thunderstorm activity is not anticipated. However, keep in mind that a pop up shower is possible especially in the afternoon as highs head towards 80 degrees.
Going into the first couple days of the week, summer is going to return! Highs will soar back into the middle and possible even upper 80s! Expect partly sunny skies with only a slight chance for a pop up storm on Monday. We will see a slightly higher chance for thunderstorms late Tuesday afternoon and into the evening hours as another cold front nears. This front will slowly push east keeping the chance for rain around on Wednesday.
A stronger area of low pressure will ride north along the front on Thursday bringing lots of rain and colder weather. Soak in the sun and warm temperatures early this week because we are right back into the cool weather by the end! Highs could barely make it out of the 50s on Thursday and Friday.
