The Champions League semifinal is set.

The lone remaining English side, Chelsea, have been drawn against La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid with the first leg going to Spain. This is probably how Jose Mourinho would prefer it, having the opportunity to play the final leg in front of his home fans at Stamford Bridge.

Easily the tie of the round, though, will be Real Madrid against current holders Bayern Munich.

The Spanish will host the first leg before making the trip to the Allainz Arena shortly afterwards.

If Chelsea go through to the final, they will be considered the away side at the Estadio Da Luz in Lisbon on May 24.

It’s worth noting that Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have met on 20 occasions in the European Cup, including five times in the semifinal.

The last time Chelsea met Atleitico, the Spanish stormed to a 4-1 UEFA Super Cup victory. The Blues were managed by Roberto Di Matteo at that time, while Radamel Falcao scored a hat trick.
