Dodge released the 440 Six Pack in 1969 as part of the A12 package for the Super Bee. The only other Dodge motor to carry the Six Pack name was a 340 that was the only available engine for the 1970 Challenger T/A.
However, if you look at the side of the Challenger T/A, it says "340 SIX PAK." Certainly there was a good reason to spell "pack" differently, right?
Perhaps, but I can't figure it out because if you look at the decal on the air cleaner, it says "Six Pack." And if you look at this original dealership item, the Track Pak and Super Track Pak axle packages were spelled just like that.
