The popular Échale! Latino Music Estyles series of concerts is returning to Pearl this fall and it all begins Friday September 13. This series of free concerts is held at the Pearl Amphitheatre and its purpose is to celebrate Latin music and promote the preservation of Latin American arts and culture. Original artwork by San Antonio artist Cruz Ortiz will be on display and available for purchase. Sponsored by Corona Extra, Gibson, Red Bull Panamerika and Cadillac the fall series features genre-bending Latin music sure to please the masses.

On Friday September 13 at 7p.m. - Piñata Protest and Making Movies
Piñata Protest is a punk band from San Antonio that plays a fusion of Tex-Mex and punk. The accordion takes center stage as they mix the sounds of Selena and Slayer. Making Movies plays Afro-Latino rhythms like cumbia and mambo with bilingual lyrics.
On Friday October 4 at 7p.m. – Carla Morrison and Davíd Garza
Carla Morrison is an alternative rock singer from Mexico whose interests have always included the arts but music is her passion. Davíd Garza is a singer-songwriter from Austin who plays rock and pop with a Latin twist. His vocal style has drawn comparisons to Freddy Mercury.
On Friday November 8 at 7p.m. – Los Master Plus and Master Blaster Sound System
Guadalajara natives Los Master Plus are the self proclaimed “jefes del vacilon” as well as masters of the cumbia with plenty of swagger. Cumbia and electronica are combined to create the Master Blaster Sound System from Austin and Corpus Christi.
