Échale! Latino Music Estyles closes out the series tomorrow at Pearl

The Échale! Latino Music Estyles is closing out the spring series of concerts at the Pearl tomorrow Friday May 9 with DMK, Chicha Libre and headliner Sonido San Francisco at 7p.m. This series of free concerts is held at the Pearl Amphitheatre and its purpose is to celebrate Latin music and promote the preservation of Latin American arts and culture. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets. Parking is available onsite and at the Kohler garage.

The bands slated to play tomorrow are:

  • Sonido San Francisco - this band from Xonocatlan, Mexico and plays a mixture of cumbias, Columbian music and urban electronic music.
  • Chicha Libre - a band from Brooklyn made up of French, American, Venezuelan and Mexican musicians. They play a mixture of Chicha classic songs, French tinged-originals and 70s pop classics in French, Spanish and English.
  • DMK - a Depeche-Mode cover band and YouTube sensation from Bogota Colombia. The band consists of a father and his two children who have taken the internet by storm since becoming a viral sensation. They are known for their signature covers of the electronic English band Depeche-Mode.
