Consciousness and energy move from one frequency to another in spiraling fashion. The body has energy centers that look like spinning wheels and are called Chakras.

They allow energy to flow from one part of the body to another. As with all things in our reality, they are linked to sound, light and color.

To heal, is to bring the chakras into alignment and balance then understand the nature of creation and your purpose in it. It's all in motion in the alchemy of time.

The Chakras

Sahasrara
Crown Chakra
Thought, Universal identity, oriented to self-knowledge

This is the crown chakra that relates to consciousness as pure awareness. It is our connection to the greater world beyond, to a timeless, spaceless place of all-knowing. When developed, this chakra brings us knowledge, wisdom, understanding, spiritual connection, and bliss.

Ajna
Third Eye Chakra
Light, Archetypal identity, oriented to self-reflection

This chakra is known as the brow chakra or third eye center. It is related to the act of seeing, both physically and intuitively. As such it opens our psychic faculties and our understanding of archetypal levels. When healthy it allows us to see clearly, in effect, letting us "see the big picture".

Throat Chakra
Sound, Creative identity, oriented to self-expression

This is the chakra located in the throat and is thus related to communication and creativity. Here we experience the world symbolically through vibration, such as the vibration of sound representing language.

Anahata
Heart Chakra
Air, Social identity, oriented to self-acceptance

This chakra is called the heart chakra and is the middle chakra in a system of seven. It is related to love and is the integrator of opposites in the psyche: mind and body, male and female, persona and shadow, ego and unity. A healthy fourth chakra allows us to love deeply, feel compassion, have a deep sense of peace and centeredness.

Solar Plexus Chakra
Fire, Ego identity, oriented to self-definition

This chakra is known as the power chakra, located in the solar plexus. It rules our personal power, will, and autonomy, as well as our metabolism. When healthy, this chakra brings us energy, effectiveness, spontaneity, and non-dominating power.

Svadhisthana
Sacral Chakra
Water, Emotional identity, oriented to self-gratification

The second chakra, located in the abdomen, lower back, and sexual organs, is related to the element water, and to emotions and sexuality. It connects us to others through feeling, desire, sensation, and movement. Ideally this chakra brings us fluidity and grace, depth of feeling, sexual fulfillment, and the ability to accept change

Muladhara
Root (base) Chakra
Earth, Physical identity, oriented to self-preservation

Located at the base of the spine, this chakra forms our foundation. It represents the element earth, and is therefore related to our survival instincts, and to our sense of grounding and connection to our bodies and the physical plane. Ideally this chakra brings us health, prosperity, security, and dynamic presence.

Binaural Beats

There are many uses for binaural beats, one of them being healing. It has been shown that the body is highly capable of healing itself. More and more research shows that there is a link between stress and an unhealthy body. One of the many applications of binaural beats is to deeply relax the body and mind, through this process the mind and body have a chance to heal itself. Binaural beats have also been shown affective with many psychosomatic illness like depression.

The binaural beat effect is the result of two slightly different audio waves being heard separately by the left and right ear (such as in a pair of headphones) in a manner that encourages the neurophysiology to generate a specific unified brain wave pattern.

Chakra meditation using binaural beats is a powerful way to clear and heal the chakras. Meditation uses the power of the mind to release the energy of past traumas. And then, self-healing begins organically and effortlessly! The body knows how to heal itself, given the chance. Once stuck energies are released and the system re-balances, you can expect an improvement in health, wealth, happiness, outlook, self-love, creativity and abundance.
Clearing the chakras is a lot like housecleaning:
- As you bring in love and light, the negative energies within you are stirred up and exposed.
- Light and love releases the negativity you’ve exposed (just like turning on a light in a dark room) and you immediately feel better.
- That uncovers the next layer of stored negative energies from past traumas.
- As you keep bringing in more light and love, you gradually clear each layer of negativity. Just like in housecleaning! First you deal with the most obvious clutter; then you uncover other things that need sorting, cleaning, repairing, throwing away, etc.
Each time you do a chakra clearing meditation, you uncover and release another layer of junk that prevents you from living a healthy and happy life.

How To Mediate

Sit with your spine straight and unsupported. This is important for proper alignment of the chakras! Put on your favorite Omharmonics track, close your eyes and relax. Take a few deep, cleansing breaths. With each inhale, imagine happiness and wellbeing flowing into you, and negativity (sadness, fear, pain) leaving you.
Visualize Light and Love entering your body at the crown chakra (the top of your head). Visualize Light and Love filling each chakra, releasing the blocked darkness of negative energies. Pay particular attention to areas of your body that seem to be difficult to clear, or are crying out with various aches, tensions and pains. Concentrate the healing light on those areas.
Visualize the Light bathing each chakra in Love, gently smoothing out the scars and rough patches and gently coaxing it to open (a blocked chakra often feels like it’s folding in on itself in an attempt at protecting itself).
Keeping your chakras open may mean a few changes in your daily routine, including spending more time:
meditating
in Nature
with friends and family
doing what you love; LESS time on anything that doesn’t feel good, right or true to you
changing your perception of the world by seeing it with more compassionate understanding
Opening your chakras shouldn’t be a struggle. Step by step, you kick up some dust, clear the clutter, deep-clean, and move on to the next room.
Scan your chakras every time you meditate for unwanted feelings. Anxiety, fear, anger, sadness, etc. are clues to blockages, so look at the chakra infographic below and determine which areas of your life you feel anxious/fearful/angry/sad about, and concentrate your loving, healing energy on that chakra.
