When hoagie sandwiches were hard to find in the DC area, two local residents banded together and created a hoagie sandwich chain.

Categorized as an upscale, gourmet deli, the eatery attracts those who are watching their diet closely, vegetarians and those opting for gluten-free food selection.

Food

Salads, sandwiches and sides are sold at all the chain's locations. For breakfast options, sold all day, two selections include a spicy Italian sausage and one with bacon, hot capicola, eggs, arugula and American cheese.

Diners will have a hard time choosing between hoagie sandwiches and fresh, top-quality salads. In addition, Risotto balls made with Marinara is the perfect complement to either the salad or hoagie.

Customers/Atmosphere

With a over-sized, community table and several smaller tables of four, the atmosphere feels homey with wood throughout the dining area. It's a comfortable setting as people relax during a quick lunch or leisurely dinner.

Price Point

One diner can eat comfortably, spending about $15, complete with a drink and home-made cookie treat.

Unique Traits

Hoagie are presented in a gourmet style, infused with a variety of fresh ingredients such as hummus and arugula.

Competitors

Restaurants, sandwich shops and delis vie for the high lunch traffic in downtown DC. But this modern-looking restaurant lures those who are health conscious or struggling with a gluten-free diet.
