But things might finally be looking up again for Chad since his split with Evelyn. We've seen on the show that Tami is encouraging Evelyn to give her ex another chance, and now according to a report this week from Miami New Times, Chad just might be going Hollywood.
It says he's set to star in "Overtown," a movie scheduled to film in Miami this month that has the theme of "survival." No doubt Chad is hoping life will imitate art with this one. Cess Silvera will write, direct and produce and is being assisted by LaShawnna Stanley, CEO of Ethnicity Models, Talent and Casting, who did the casting for the project.
LaShawnna tells Miami New Times the film is "a story about three unlikely friends who come from different racial backgrounds with one thing in common: surviving the streets of Overtown, one of Miami's grittiest neighborhoods." She adds, "they're seduced by Miami's nightlife and drug trade, they get mixed up in it all and lose a lot along the way - mostly their innocence, naivete, and dreams."
Sounds intriguing. We can't wait to see how it all turns out.
