Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne, who spent four years in Miami, will not return next season.
The Sun-Sentinel reported the Dolphins will not offer the 26-year-old a new contract.
Henne passed for 868 yards, four touchdowns and 4 interceptions before injuring his left shoulder in a botched handoff attempt during a loss to the Chargers last season.
He spent the rest of the year on injured reserve.
Though he was touted as a quarterback with a strong arm who could complete the deep pass coming out of college, his penchant for turning the ball over in late-game situations doomed his future in Miami.
Matt Moore replaced Henne after his injury and did a respectable job.
However, Miami’s new coaching staff is still looking to upgrade at the quarterback position.
