CFL announces 2013 schedule Tuesday

According to the Canadian Football League website, the Canadian Football League announced its 2013 regular season schedule on Tuesday.

The Calgary Stampeders will open their 18 game schedule on Friday, June 28 at 8:00 p.m. against the British Columbia Lions at McMahon Stadium. The Stampeders will play the Lions four times during the season and the other Western Division opponents three times each. They will play in Edmonton twice and host Saskatchewan twice. The Stampeders will also play each team in the Eastern Division twice, one game at home and one game on the road.

The Stampeders will also have back-to-back games with the Montreal Alouettes (July 12 in Montreal and July 20 in Calgary) and Edmonton Eskimos (September 2 in Calgary and September 6 in Edmonton).

The Stampeders will have their bye week in week six and finish their regular season November 1 in Vancouver against the British Columbia Lions.
