Cage Fury Fighting Championships is one of the top MMA promotions on the East Coast. They've held shows in Atlantic City, Delaware, and even right outside Philadelphia at the Valley Forge Casino. Finally CFFC is bringing their always stacked and fun to watch fight card to the 'City of Brotherly Love' with CFFC 33: Felder vs. Stevens at the 2300 Arena (formerly known as the ECW Arena). CFFC has a stacked fight card, with 3 scheduled Professional MMA bouts and a scheduled 9 Amateur MMA bouts. The main event for CFFC 33 is for the CFFC Lightweight Title, when undefeated Philly fighter Paul Felder takes on TUF 12 contestant Marc Stevens. Also fighting on this card are rising stars Ricky Nuno, Tom Marcellino, Travis Wynn, Binns Management client Arnold Nelson, and up and coming Amateur MMA prospect Sean Brady
Paul Felder is a Daniel Gracie Renzo Philly fighter and holds a record of 6-0. Felder is a CFFC veteran, and has finished 4 of his 6 victories within 2 rounds. Felder defeated his last opponent Julian Lane at CFFC 28: Brenneman vs. Baker via Unanimous Decision. Felder is taking on TUF 12 alum, Ring of Combat, Bellator MMA, and CES MMA veteran Marc Stevens. Stevens holds a record of 15-8, and has gone 7-3 in his last 10 fights. Stevens most recently picked up a Unanimous Decision victory at CES MMA: Rise or Fall in October 2013. Stevens has stepped inside the cage with the likes of former CFFC Welterweight Champion and current UFC Welterweight George Sullivan, Bellator MMA veteran Ryan Quinn, and CES MMA veteran Luis "Rockstar" Felix. The winner of this main event bout between Paul Felder and Marc Stevens, will be crowned the new CFFC Lightweight Champion.
Also on the card is AMA Fight Club product Rick "El Numero Uno" Nuno taking on Renzo Gracie product and CFFC veteran Tom Marcellino. Nuno holds a Professional MMA record of 2-2, while Marcellino has a litle more experience with his record at 5-2. Nuno is also a CFFC veteran fighting for the company twice before, going 0-2 with the organization. Nuno is rebounding off a TKO loss at CFFC 27: Heckman vs. Kelleher in Sepember of 2013. Marcellino started his career 4-0 before losing 2 straight to Binns Management client Andrew Osborne, and then Brenson Hansen at World Series of Fighting 2: Arlovski vs. Johnson. Marcellino rebounded from those two losses with a first round submission victory at CFFC 29 at the Valley Forge Casino in November 2013. A win for either man here would be huge for their Professional MMA careers.
Also highlighted on the card are some very good Amateur MMA match ups. Top prospect Sean Brady (4-0) will be stepping back inside the cage in his 5th Amateur MMA fight against Brandon Vernalli (3-1). The 21 year old Brady is an XFE and XCC veteran, most recently defeating LITC Welterweight Amateur Champion Stephfond Ewins via Unanimous Decision in May 2013. Brady's opponent, Brandon Vernalli is 25 years old and holds an Amateur record of 3-1. Vernalli is a 2 time CFFC veteran, defeating his last opponent at CFFC 27, via 29 second Knockout. Both of these young men are extremely talented, and this fight should definitely be a treat to watch for MMA fans. Also on the Amateur MMA card is Binns Management client Arnold Nelson, making his Amateur MMA debut against Heavyweight Jonathan Romero (2-0). Nelson signed with Binns Management in November of 2013, and this will be his first step towards going Pro.
