Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) recognized the most innovative beauty products of the year on Friday, May 16th at the 20th Annual CEW Insiders’ Choice Beauty Awards, or Beauty "Oscars.' The award-winning products ranged across 36 categories including skin care, cosmetics, hair care, fragrance and more. Highlights of this year’s event are, but not limited to more than 750 entries, 193 finalists and the host is Aisha Tyler. The complete list of the winning products can be viewed here.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the CEW Beauty Awards is the only awards program in which the winners are determined exclusively by beauty industry professionals, CEW’s 6,000 members. This event is like the Beauty Oscars, because the CEW Beauty Awards are the industry’s highest recognition for brands and manufacturers, and serve as a guide for consumers to the most innovative new products for the year. “When a shopper purchases a beauty product, she is looking for performance and value,” says Carlotta Jacobson, President of CEW. “The CEW Beauty Awards seal helps consumers cut through the clutter so they can make an informed decision about the best products the industry has to offer.”

In celebration of its two decades of recognizing innovation in beauty products, CEW announced the winners of the first-ever Iconic Beauty Award, sponsored by DSM Personal Care, which recognized two products (one in mass and one in prestige) that have transcended 20 or more years in the industry. The Iconic Beauty Award winner in the mass category is Maybelline New York Great Lash Mascara, and YSL Beaute Touche Éclat is the winner in the prestige category. Also new this year, CEW presented the Most Buzzed About Beauty Award, sponsored by Yahoo! to L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Mascara and Estée Lauder Modern Muse Eau de Parfum, which recognizes the mass and prestige beauty products consumers are talking about online.

39 awards were given: Acne Treatment, Anti-Aging Mass, Anti-Aging Prestige, Bath and Body Mass, Bath and Body Prestige, Best Seller Award Mass, Best Seller Award Prestige, Cleanser & Scrub, Eco Beauty Award, Eye Product Mass, Eye Product Prestige, Eye Treatment Mass, Eye Treatment Prestige, Face Product Mass, Face Product Prestige, Hair Care Product, Hair Coloring Product, Hair Styling Product, new Iconic Beauty Award Mass and Iconic Beauty Award Prestige, Indie Beauty Award, Lip Product Mass, Lip Product Prestige, Lip Treatment, Men’s Grooming, Men's Scent, Perfumer for Men’s Scent, Moisturizer Mass, Moisturizer Prestige, new Most Buzzed About Award Mass and Most Buzzed About Award Prestige, Nail Product, QVC Beauty Quest Award, Skincare Tools, Sun Product, Women's Scent Mass, Perfumer for Women’s Scent Mass, Women's Scent Prestige, Perfumer for Women’s Scent Prestige.
