Cesareo Moreno lecture at Tucson Museum of Art

The Tucson Museum of Art is hosting a lecture given by Cesareo Moreno on Thursday, March 13, 2014. The lecture is at 6 p.m. and free with museum admission. The lecture relates to the museum's latest temporary exhibit called "Miradas: Ancient Roots in Modern and Contemporary Mexican Art Works from the Bank of America Collection."

Cesareo Moreno as the curator of the "Miradas" exhibit. He is also the Visual Arts Director and Chief Curator of the National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago. The lecture will be on the influences in the creation of the art in the exhibit and some of the artists featured in the exhibit.

About the Tucson Museum of Art: This museum is located at 140 N. Main Avenue, Tucson, AZ. The hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday; and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $10 for general, $8 for seniors (65+), $5 for college students, and free for members, high school students, ages 18 and under, and active military or veteran with ID. The first Sunday of every month is free for everyone.
