CES Coverage - Sprint unveils the Overdrive Wireless Router

Those looking for a super fast new mobile router should check out the Overdrive Wireless Router just introduced at CES by Sprint.  This cool new device is similar to the Novatel MiFi device introduced last year and available to Sprint and Verizon customers.

The overdrive is a product that Sprint hopes will get customers interested in WiMAX.  The Overdrive can connect 5 devices at one time to Sprint's 4G network or 3G network.  Customers can use unlimited bandwidth while on the 4G network (currently covers a population of 30 million people living in 27 U.S. markets) and 5GB of data usage on the 3G network.

Overall a great product for small business customers, domestic travelers, or just the family vacation you have planned.

You can pick one up on January 10th.  Expect to pay $100 on a two year agreement for the device and around $60 a month for the service.
