The 2014 CES Show is planning to exceed expectations as the hub of what to see and who to meet. It is the event for the culture of technology. This year the 2014 CES is having an exciting showdown of the best apps and gadget.
CES announced today from its press release and website that this coming show will have App producers compete with a demo of their app within a four minute time period. An applause-o-meter measures audience enthusiasm to determine the winner. Also, an online vote will be available to determine a separate winner online. Guest emcees Gary Dell’Abate and John Hein from the Sirius XM channel are slated to host this event which is scheduled to be held Jan. 9, 2014 in the LVCC (Las Vegas Convention Center North Hall) at 12:30-2:00 pm.
You may also choose to showcase your app on the Wall of Apps in the Grand Lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center and World Trade Center (LVCC).
The fee to enter the app showdown is $800 with the entry deadline on December 13, 2013. The same deadline is for the Wall of Apps with a fee of $3950.
Sponsored by Lenovo, the Last Gadget Standing is now in its 12th year. The event is live and online also. The contest looks for the coolest gadgets most likely to succeed; even after the 2014 CES draws to a close. There are three ways to win the Gadget showdown. The contest will have a panel of judges, yet to be announced, a live audience event to determine the winner and online voters.
The event will be held January 9, 2014 from 10:30 am till noon in the LVCC North Hall Room 225. The entry fee is $950 with a deadline for entry on December 1, 2013.
