A ceramic squirrel stabbing happened when a woman in North Charleston was upset about her boyfriend not bringing home some beer. WebPro News reports Dec. 27 that Helen Williams, 44, began beating and stabbing her 41-year-old significant other when he failed to show up back at home the beer he went to buy.
The event happened Christmas Eve night when most stores are closed early for the holiday. He went out in an attempt to purchase some beer, but no luck. When he went back to the residence he shared with Williams, she came unglued over the fact her boyfriend was not able to get his hands on some alcohol.
At that point, Williams grabbed a ceramic squirrel and got violent. She started beating him over the head and stabbing him in the chest and shoulder, according to the report. He escaped the violent attack by running over to a neighbor's house for help and dialed 911.
When police arrived to question Williams over the alleged stabbing, they noticed blood all over her clothes and hands. She told them her boyfriend had fell down and hurt himself.
Williams is being charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature. She is jailed in Charleston County jail Friday on a $10,000 bail.
Usually alcohol is the reason behind violence, but the bizarre ceramic squirrel stabbing was over a lack of it.
