CEO's and Politicians are the Ultimate Bullies

I remember being back in grade school and being picked on and bullied. I remember being made to feel inferior so that others could have a false sense of bravado and cheap ego boosts. For many years I have spoken out against bullies in all shapes and forms. Ultimately those who bully are the biggest cowards out there. They cannot get what they want without using force, and cannot debate or reason at all. Most importantly is the fact that bullies cannot see outside of their selves and how their actions affect others, nor do they seem to care.

That is why I am very excited about the Occupy Wall street protests. We are finally standing up to the corporate and political bullies, who just give us scraps to live on while they define the word greed to a new and more disgusting level. Corporate and political thugs seriously have made bullying a profession. They are drunk with power, have no sympathy or compassion for anyone outside of their immediate circle.

It is about time that people are sick of this. Seriously pay the politicians and corporate leaders’ minimum wage and see how fast that would change. This is sickening, disgusting and greedy beyond reason and understanding. Why did it take so long for people to FINALLY say “ENOUGH?”

I have been anti-bully since I was little and I was picked on a lot. We are born and bred with the lies of “survival of the fittest” and “only the strong survive.” These models of society have seriously out lived their usefulness. The world is changing right before our eyes. These models of behavior are only destroying the fabric of life, not enriching it at all. The whole concept that a small percentage of world citizens control nearly all of the wealth makes many very nauseous.

It is time to take our blinders off and have compassion for all and not just for some. There is enough food and money that NOBODY should suffer and be poor. If those who have it all had nothing they wouldn’t like it very much now would they? If they had family members who were poor they wouldn’t let that happen, would they?

Man’s inhumanity towards his fellow man is on center stage RIGHT NOW. We are finally standing up to the injustices of the world. Most people want to get along and want others not to suffer. It is time for corporate and political bullying to STOP. How much more injustice can and should the majority of the world's population have to endure?

What makes this movement so great is that it is WORLD WIDE. I can’t help but think of the Doors song, “Five to One” where Jim Morrison sings “they’ve got the guns, but we got the numbers, it may take weeks or it may take longer.” It has taken forty something years for that ideology to play up to a crescendo.

Think of all the ways that we have been placated over the years, brain washed into submission. We have been lulled to sleep by mass marketing, mass media, sports, entertainment, video games, over medicating with prescriptions, and even the internet. What is so deliciously beautiful is that it has been through the internet that people have come together stronger and more united than before!
