Central Puget Sound Pagan Pride Day event was held yesterday, October 5, 2013 at the Freighthouse Square in Tacoma. This was the second year that CPSPPD was held there and plans are already in the works for the next years event. Although the official head count has not been released just yet, attendees will tell you that it did seem that there were more people there this year than the last. For Central Puget Sound Pagan Pride, the Pagan Pride Project and Pagans world wide, this increased number of attendees and happenings at the even are very good news.
In case you missed the event here is a quick list of what you missed out on:
11:00 – 11:30 - Belly dance
11:30 - 12:00 - Opening Ritual- Grey School
12:00 – 1:00 - Workshop: Elemental Meditation
1:00 – 2:00 - Workshop: History of Herb Use
1:30 – 2:00 - Belly dance

The belly dancers were all amazing as were the rituals, workshops, drum circle and venders. You could feel the warmth of community in the air and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time. There is even talk that next years event may need to stretch out across two days. What was once a small group is now growing and becoming stronger each day. CSPPD worked hard all year to make this event great and is already working on making next years event even better.
