Central Dakota Humane Society to hold annual Bene-Pet Auction and Dinner

Central Dakota Humane Society will be holding its annual Bene-Pet fundraiser on Saturday, March 29 at the Ramkota Hotel in Bismarck. Tickets for the Royal Fur Ball dinner and auction event are $35 before March 15 ($40 after March 15) and must be purchased in advance online at, by calling the CDHS shelter at 667-2020 or by stopping at the shelter during open hours.

Bene-Pet begins at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour, followed by dinner at 6:15 p.m. and the live and silent auctions following dinner. Some items up for auction include a Jack Owens package, Spa package, Adirondack Chairs and a 5 night Ezulwini South Africa Safari for 2. Along with the live auction items, there also will be many silent auction items up for bid and several fundraiser games with prizes like a Sony Play Station 4 and an iPad mini.

CDHS is a no-kill animal shelter that serves Bismarck-Mandan and the surrounding communities by housing and finding homes for lost, strayed or abandoned animals, promoting spaying and neutering and offering educational opportunities. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and is located just three miles north of Mandan on Highway 1806. People can visit the shelter or can log onto the CDHS website at to view pictures of adoptable animals. CDHS invites all animal lovers to consider becoming supporting members or donors.
