Centennial singer wows the judges on "The Voice"

Biff Gore describes himself as an “Acoustic Soul Singing Blues Man” and now the entire country has gotten a chance to hear him sing.

Gore is a contestant on NBC talent show “The Voice”.

Gore belted out a rendition of Sam Cooke’s “A Change is Gonna Come” during the blind auditions on Monday night and impressed all four judges as they hit their buttons and turned their red chairs around.

The 45 year old Gore is a minister, a father of a five and blues guitarist as well. The judges, Shakira, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Usher all tried to convince the singer to be on their team. Gore eventually chose Usher as his coach and was a crowd favorite. If his first performance is any indication, Gore could go a long way in the competition.
