This heavy-bodied, deep copper colored spirit presents unique aromas of deep caramel, cream soda, ripe banana, roasted nuts and star anise. A well balanced satin smooth introduction leads to a harmonic compliment of maple, spicy nuts, cinnamon, banana custard and tobacco notes. The finish suggests a long, sweet spicy peppery richness with echoes of toffee candy.
This premium aged rum created by Centenario Internacional of Costa Rica is aged twenty years in oak. The bottle is covered in a leather jacket.
The company also produces Centenario Conmemorativo Reserva and Centenario Añejo Especial Five Year Old rum.
