In Washington DC, environmental science degreed and Gulf Coast Barefoot Doctor facilitator Kimberly Wolf presented a black briefcase packed with censored Gulf of Mexico evidence at the "Spill Into Washington DC Rally" last week. Wolf is as packed with untold Gulf operation details as is her briefcase that she invited rally participants to open and peruse and occasionally used to tap her foot when referring its content.

Wolf is the cancer survivor ousted from the first President Investigative Commission meeting on the Gulf Oil catastrophe that was held in New Orleans. Just before escorted out of that meeting in July, she had responded to the Coast Guard report it presented, a report viewed by people of the Gulf Coast as the same propaganda BP is using for its campaign in best interest of corporations instead of people.

Leading what she has called the Peoples' Army, Wolf, with Delia LaBarre of Barefoot Doctors, has rallied for urgently neded medical supplies for Gulf Coast residents. Across the four hardest hit states, the same symptoms plus blood tests for hydrocarbons in the blood prove the levels to be extremely dangerous, requiring an American citizenry rapid response according to researchers.

Millions of people have been poisoned.

The New Orleans-based Gulf Coast Barefoot Doctors, a non-profit organization, have called on people of goodwill in free nations to send simple supplies for home-made Toxic Survival Kits, such as baking soda. Such information about how to survive the poisoning is not provided by any other agency. The barefoot doctors are distributing these survival information and supply kits to people and communities suffering the most. (Also see: Exclusive: Censored Gulf survival news, Toxic exposure self-help, global aid also needed, Sircus, Examiner, July, 2010)

Based in New Orleans, watching friends become too ill to remain there, Wolf once stated at a tele-conference with humanitarian Mark Sircus and the Examiner, "We have all discussed leaving, but I already have cancer, so I do not need to leave. None of the others have cancer. We have all been saying though, if this gets bad, they need to leave."

That day in July was the first day of widespread reports in New Orleans of eyes and throats being burned by the corporate government operation spreading poisons in the Gulf region. The situation there has steadily deteriorated, that is until last week when it plummeted further with ExxonMobile in Chalmette, Louisiana releasing massive amounts of toxins - 1 ton of particulate matter white dust, spreading it over homes, land, waterways and food right into the Greater New Orleans area.

People in the Gulf Coast region are unwilling guinea pigs in this disaster. Neither media nor government have distributed vital information people need to make decisions about:

1). Whether or not to move;

2) Risks people face if they stay; and

3) Is there anyone there to help?

The LA Dept. of Health and Hospitals produced a flyer on Corexit Dispersant dangers for a June 23 Town Meeting with The Unified Command which I was present for which clearly states: "Pregnant women..., and small children should avoid the affected areas." That has not been issued as a widely published alert stating danger to this population.

According to the CDC, however, "If you are exposed to dispersants for a long time or several times, they can also cause central nervous system effects; sleepiness; damage to your blood, kidney, or liver; and a metallic taste in your mouth."

Painfully clear is that the government is not concerned with the Gulf Coast residents' health. It has failed to inform the public about the real dangers to their health. Wolfe, however, has not stopped her research or awareness raising - as demonstrated in the video below.

Blood research reports released on September 6th related to toxic human health effects of poisons in air and sea indicate that the Obama administration's petrochemical-military-industrial-complex Gulf operation has created the greatest health tragedy in United States history, a crime against humanity that after almost five months, continues with impunity.
