Like barefoot doctors in days of old, a small group of humanitarians in the Deep South go where angels fear to tread due to poisons spread in the Gulf Crime Against Humanity. Gulf Coast Barefoot Doctors are working around the clock to save lives through a community-based approach: helping people learn, networking, plus making and delivering Toxic Survival Kits, the only service of its kind at Ground Zero.
The government, after condoning and aiding aerial deadly chemical spraying, has prevented survival needs of millions of Gulf Coast people, the greatest human rights violations in U.S. history
Traditionally, barefoot doctors served in areas of most need, the poorest areas where no doctor would live, in remote villages, as detailed below. They had little training but were life-savers. They focused on prevention, as the Gulf Coast group is doing to prevent death from the new lethal chemicals in the air, water and food.
The New Orleans-based barefoot doctor group understands that best prevention is voluntary relocation.
Based on the Bush administration's abuse of Hurricane Katrina survivors and the Obama administration's poisoning millions of people during the present BP Gulf of Mexico operation in which human internal bleeding has begun, voluntary relocation planning is needed, as WWL recommended over two months ago.
As desperately in need as the Gulf barefoot doctors are, they discourage out-of-area recruits to enter the contaminated area due to life-threatening conditions of this American refugee, health and humanitarian crisis.
"We are advising people to not come here," the group said.
One group member had to leave for two weeks after the poisons reached New Orleans and she became ill. They also lost their original videographer.
They want locals to leave, but out of the millions who have been gassed, few have means or strength to relocate. Few know a way out.
Some people are too sick to leave. Most are too poor to go. They are hungry. They are are trapped in what is increasingly being called what it is, genocide.
The New Orleans-based barefoot doctors have called on people of goodwill in free nations to send simple supplies for home-made Toxic Survival Kits, such as baking soda. Such information about how to survive the poisoning is not provided by any other agency. (Also see: Exclusive: Censored Gulf survival news, Toxic exposure self-help, global aid also needed, Sircus, Examiner, July, 2010)
These front-line volunteer barefoot doctors, including Nicolette Slagle and Jake Schumann, are helping people learn to make home-made respirators out of materials found in most homes, such as old bras, and to use baking soda to detox, as guided by oversees humanitarian, Dr. Mark Sircus.
The group of humanitarians are trying to get going, with no funding but a lot of good will. They are making the usual stone soup typical of grassroots groups, and many other initiatives in response to this ongoing catastrophe.
Last Sunday, they distributed survival kits at several New Orleans churches. Yesterday, they drove to Pointe-au-Chien, Louisiana and visited Native Americans tribes in the southern most area of the state to distribute the Toxic Survival Kits - and more. They listened.
"It's necessary to get a first-hand understanding of the people and their needs, gain trust and develop relationship," stated Delia LaBarre, heading the growing team of barefoots that now includes one local nurse and one oversees doctor.
LaBarre said that they also picked up fresh produce and other supplies to help those in south Louisiana identified by local authorities as "most in need." LaBarre is one of the people in New Orleans who, in first days after Hurricane Katrina when FEMA was creating obstacles for food water provisions to reach the injured and dying, was serving meals and water to the traumatized and hungry poor, carring their possesions in bags, streaming past her resident near the Superdome Stadium.
Remote Aerial Medical is calling for medical volunteers to spend three days in south Louisiana end of August to treat, at no cost, the poisoned people there. RAM says these people "have been left with nothing." LaBarre and the other barefoot doctors will be there, for non-medical assistance.
Barefoot Doctor History
Barefoot doctors in People's Republic of China were farmers, usually with no more than high school education and with minimal basic medical and paramedical training, who worked in rural villages, taking health care where urban-trained doctors would not live. They helped people learn basic preventive health care such as hygiene and family planning, and treated common illnesses. Many were barefoot rice paddy workers.
In the 1930s, the Rural Reconstruction Movement pioneered the concept of these village health workers as part of a coordinated health system. After Mao Zedong’s healthcare speech in 1965, Trainer of Trainers (TOT) concept related to rural health care was developed and institutionalized. Mao Zedong criticized the medical system's urban bias and called for rural inclusion, a human right, to ensure meeting health needs of the poor in vill.
After a 1968 Zedong speech, the barefoot doctors program, officially called "rural cooperative medical systems” (RCMS), integrated into China's national policy. These community workers became skilled in listening to people's needs and involving them in planning and creating ways to meet their needs, an effective and efficient process called community participation. This was achieved with rural provision of health services' cooperation. (Carrin, Guy; et al. (1999). "The Reform of the Rural Cooperative Medical System in the People's Republic of China: Interim Experience in 14 Pilot Countries". Social Science & Medicine 48 (7): 961–967, cited in Wikipedia)
Barefoot doctors became a part of the Cultural Revolution, diminishing China' health department or "ministry," the Weishengbu, dominated by Western-trained doctors and pharmaceutical drugs.
Barefoot doctors mainly focused on prevention and has spread throughout the world.
"The system of barefoot doctors was among the most important inspirations for the WHO conference in Alma Ata, Kazakhstan in 1978 where the Alma Ata Declaration was signed unanimously." Hailed as a revolutionary breakthrough in international health ideology, this declaration called for local communities participating in deciding health care priorities, an emphasis on primary health care and preventive medicine. (Wikipedia)
David Werner refined the barefoot doctor concept used widely in developing nations and communities - now including America's Gulf Coast. Werner authored the barefoot doctor "bible," Where There Is No Doctor: A Village Healthcare Handbook, and among others, a book about how to train trainers to use the system. He offers a free electronic version of the manual. (Click here)
Today, in one of history's darkest hours, global support is needed for the Gulf Coast Barefoot Doctors, angels on Earth.

They need to keep in mind that the baking soda you get at the grocery store (Arm&Hammer, etc.) has toxic aluminum in it. The global elite control most of our food supply so their bases are covered on this "remedy" also. If you want non toxic, aluminum free baking soda you have to order it online. And you better hurry because Obama passed Codex Alimentarius on June 10, which will outlaw all healthy supplements such as vitamins, herbs, etc. which will put out of business the health supplement industries that sell aluminum free baking soda, bentonite clay and other things that adsorb toxins internally. The very best thing you can do is prepare your SOUL but getting right with the Lord Jesus Christ. The time is definately near for His judgment on the earth and it won't be pretty.
Lynn, It seems you are confusing baking soda with baking powder. Would you please provide a reference for baking soda having aluminum in it?

Who Killed The Gulf?
By J. Speer Williams
7-22-10
If there's ever to be an honest final analysis of what killed the Gulf of Mexico, it will not be Mother Earth's crude oil and gases.
What did kill the Gulf? The man-made chemical dispersant, Corexit.
Well then, WHO killed the Gulf? British Petroleum, of course; but, they were only the paid killers. The important parts of the article below tell us - WHO paid the killers to do the killing, and paid the cops to look the other way, and paid the courts to declare the murder to have been an unavoidable homicide.
There's a two tiered system of justice in the United States: one for us and another for the "legalized" killers.
If you, me, and our neighbors had been running the Deepwater Horizon oil rig when it blew up in the Gulf of Mexico, and we
