Celtic Woman to Perform at Chrysler Hall

Spring will be in the air as all Irish female international music sensation Celtic Woman will be celebrating Ireland and its enchanting Celtic heritage through an exceptional presentation of traditional Irish anthems and pop standards at Chrysler Hall on May 23, 2014. Under the indistinguishable musical direction of Emmy-nominated music producer, David Downes, Celtic Woman: The Emerald Tour will showcase a moving assemblage of the record-breaking music that has astounded audiences from all over the globe. Downes, former musical director of the hit stage show, Riverdance, conceived and assembled the band with Sharon Browne. They recruited the five singers, who had never performed together before, and discovered a musical phenomenon. Cumulatively, albums by Celtic Woman have sold over six million records worldwide. Celtic Woman has been described as "Riverdance for the voice". The show will feature the Aoritas Choir, championship Irish dancers, bagpipers, drums and the unmistakable, heavenly voices of Celtic Woman.
