Celtic Woman will embrace the stage of the Henderson Pavilion this coming Sunday, September 5th, 2010 at 8:00 PM for a one night performance!
Celtic Woman consists of musical starlets Chloe Agnew, Lynn Hilary, Lisa Kelly and fiddler Mairead Nesbitt. They were formed in 2004 by Sharon Browne and David Downes, a former musical director for the Irish stage show Riverdance.
They have released a total of five albums, including a holiday album titled A Christmas Celebration. They debuted on PBS in the US during March 2005, via a taping of them performing in front of a live, sold out audience at The Helix in Dublin, Ireland. Weeks afterward, their debut self titled album reached number one on the Billboard World Music chart and eventually broke Andrea Bocelli's long-standing record of chart topping in July of 2006, by staying number one for 68 weeks! The current members explain part of their success as being how different they are, yet how well they mesh together. Their latest release is titled Celtic Woman: Songs from the Heart. You can learn more about these Celtic Angels from Heaven by visiting their website, www.celticwoman.com.
Tickets are available now and can be purchased either in person at the Henderson Pavilion Box Office, located on 200 S. Green Valley Parkway, over the phone at 702-267-2171 or via their website at www.hendersonlive.com. Ticket prices range from $35 to $65.
Don't miss your opportunity to see these lovely, Celtic women take the stage and mesmerize you with their vocals blended with the fiddle expertise of Mairead Nesbitt. It is certain to be a night of excellent, Celtic and contemporary vibes that will have you talking afterward for days and days!
