Have you heard of Cellfire? It's a neat concept and a great way to enjoy additional grocery savings in the checkout line. What's even better is it's a free service that you can join and utilize without having to physically clip coupons, eliminating the work involved and the possibility of forgetting them at home when you go to the store.
The basic concept of Cellfire is simple: You "clip" digital grocery coupons and add them directly to your grocery store loyalty or savings cards. Each of your favorite grocers offer their own coupons too! For the most part, these coupons are updated and changed every other Tuesday, with the exception of a few of the participating stores.
So, how do you "clip" digital coupons? It's pretty simple really. You just visit the Cellfire site, login to your account, select your favorite grocer and view what offers are current for their store. When you see an offer you like, you click the "clip" button below the coupon and follow the prompts to add your grocery loyalty or savings card information. You can store this information too so you don't have to re-enter it each time you "clip" a new coupon to save time.
Once you complete the process, they are attached to the card. When you use your card at the checkout, under the guidelines of the offers, you will automatically receive the savings upon checkout without handing the cashier a paper coupon.
Do you access the internet from your cell phone? Cellfire also works that way too! The Cellfire Mobile Application is available for many phones including iPhone, Android and more. That means you can take your grocery savings mobile too!
You will still want to make note of things like expiration dates and terms of the offer to be sure you enjoy the savings. One of the neat features of the Cellfire system is that you can print a Shopping List from their site after you have "clipped" your digital coupons so as not to forget what coupons you have to redeem. You can also email that Shopping List to yourself or make it available for view on your cell phone while you are in the store. Pretty nifty!
Additionally, Cellfire's service allows you to receive email notifications from them when, for example, new coupons are available at your favorite grocery stores or when your "clipped" coupons are soon to expire.
Unfortunately, Cellfire is still building and expanding it's program but as of yet is not available in all areas. They do, however, have a pretty great array of grocery stores participating and if your favorite is among them, this is a fabulous way to enjoy more grocery store savings.
At the present time, the grocery stores that participate in Cellfire are:
Baker's, City Market, D'Agostino, Dillons, Fry's, Gerbes, Giant Eagle, Hilander, JayC, King Soopers, Kroger, Owen's, Pay Less, QFC, Ralphs Scott's, Smith's, Carrs, Dominick's, Genuardi's, Pavilions, Randall's, Safeway, Shop Rite, Tom Thumb and Vons.
Each store has it's own available offers with Cellfire and if you shop more than one store, you can simply visit both at the site to learn of their latest offers.
A visit to their website today shows coupons available from a multitude of brand name grocery items including: Bisquick, Fiber One, Gogurt, Trix, Splitz, Nature Valley, Chex Mix, Yoplait, General Mills, Pillsbury, Cheerios, Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks, Old El Paso, Totinos, Hamburger Helper and more.
