Celine Dion could top charts again with Titanic song

San Diego’s Z90.3 claims that Celine Dion could join fellow 90s chart diva Whitney Houston back to the Billboard charts, now that old songs are allowed to re-chart.

Titanic 3D will be released in theaters on April 6 and the soundtrack to the film, one of the biggest selling albums of the 1990s, will be re-released as well. There is no word on whether or not there will be extra songs added to the album. However, “My Heart Will Go On,” Celine Dion’s award-winning theme song, will be pushed to radio stations and iTunes the last week of March.

“My Heart Will Go On” not only won an Oscar in 1998, but won “Song of the Year” at the Grammys in 1999. It was Celine Dion’s last huge hit in the United States.
