Celine Dion cancels week of Las Vegas shows at Caesars Palace after illness

Celine Dion is following her doctor’s orders and won’t be singing this week at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace. The Las Vegas entertainer has cancelled the shows from February 19 to February 22 and will be offering refunds to those attendees who already bought tickets. Making the announcement on her website Monday, it appears that the fans who books trips during this time will be disappointed.

"We regret to inform you that Celine performances Tuesday, Feb. 19 through Friday, Feb. 22 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace have been cancelled,” reads the message about the performances on the website.

Celine Dion had the flu last week, but she seemed to be doing better. As everyone knows the flu weakens the body and this lead to Dion getting a serious sinus infection. Cancelling the shows was part of the direct decision of her doctor as the recommendation of resting for seven days is being adhered to by the star.

The celebrity is expected to return to the stage next week for her show and the fans coming for spring break are glad to hear it. Looking to make the best of a vacation, it’s impossible to imagine going to Las Vegas without catching a performance by Celine Dion.
