Celiac.com and the gluten-free mall answer your gluten-free questions

When people need information about gluten-free living or celiac disease, they often go to the internet to search for an answer.  Type in any gluten-free cooking question, celiac question, or product search and you almost always end up at the www.celiac.com site.

This site is great for finding answers to so many of your gluten-free questions.  There is a forum for asking questions, an extremely large article database, an online store to purchase products, a monthly newsletter and a calendar for gluten-free events around the country.

Celiac.com was started in 1995 by Scott Adams.  In 1994, Scott was diagnosed with celiac disease, which led him to create Celiac.com. He created this site for a single purpose: To help as many people as possible with celiac disease get diagnosed and live happy, healthy gluten-free lives. Celiac.com was the first site on the Internet dedicated solely to celiac disease, and since then it has become an invaluable resource to people worldwide who seek information about celiac disease and the gluten-free diet.

In 1998, Scott created The Gluten-Free Mall, Your Special Diet Superstore! which was also another Internet first.  It was the first gluten-free food site to offer a shopping cart-style interface, and the ability for people to order gluten-free products manufactured by many different companies at a single Web site.

I encourage you to think of your gluten-free and celiac questions and then go to www.celiac.com to see if you can find the answers.  If not, enter your question in the forum and see if you finally get a response to your questions.  Thanks Scott for creating such a valuable resource for our gluten-free community!
