What are Hollywood A-listers up to for Labor Day Holiday Weekend? "Anything they want" seems to be the final party line answer of most celebrity gossip columnists.
Here's a quick rundown of Labor Day weekend activities for jet setters by Canyon News. They have been doing a little star gazing of their own, and had the following notes and activity "reminder list" of things to do to share with those of us staying home this weekend, working on our houses, and simply planning on lighting up the family barbecue to celebrate Summer one last time before the cold weather sets in:
HOLLYWOOD—There are at least a few things you must do before summer ends. Some of Hollywood’s A-list celebrities this summer traveled to Europe, mostly Italy and France. While others decided to cruise the Mediterranean in their private yacht, which by the way, the trendy thing to do is take along the shadow boat. If you don’t know what a shadow boat is, that means you are not doing well. When you are doing really well, you know that a shadow boat follows your yacht around and holds all your toys (motorcycles, Maserati, jet skis, etc.) that usually would take space on your $20 million mega yacht.
If you have some time off coming up for Labor Day, grab your American Express Black and head off to where you can probably see some of your favorite celebrities. Las Vegas is usually the hot place to be. South Beach is great for celebrity bar-hopping. Flying off to the Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas, can be trendy and if you can afford to pay $25,000 a night at the Atlantis, you can stay at the Michael Jackson suite, the one that looks like a bridge. Property in the Bahamas, goes for $1,000 a square foot, if you can stand like a flamingo all day you can own a piece of land, so imagine what Nicolas Cage paid for his white house in Paradise Island that was once owned by Charlie Chaplin?
