Celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson discusses diet, exercise and massage

Celebrity fitness coach Gunnar Peterson says a healthy diet, regular workouts, and massage therapy can accelerate weight loss, minimize training injuries, and promote optimal health.

Gunnar spoke at a press event in New York this week sponsored by HoMedics, where he led a workout session with fitness bloggers and discussed how massage can enhance physical and emotional health.

“There is a growing library of clinical data documenting the benefits of massage," he said.

"Every day, we need to find moments that reward our bodies and our mind. Massage does just this, and the new HoMedics Massage collection makes it easy, convenient and affordable."

Gunnar also said eating whole foods, avoiding refined carbs and sugar, and doing high-intensity interval training can help anyone get a hot body. He underscored that managing stress and getting enough sleep are also important for being lean and youthful.

Peterson's celebrity client list reads like a Who's Who of Hollywood, and includes Angelina Jolie, Sofia Vergara, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Matthew McConaughey and Sylvester Stallone.
