The third season of “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” returns Thursday, January 7 at 10/9c, and as before will follow the real-life experiences of celebrity patients undergoing detoxification and treatment at The Pasadena Recovery Center.   From VH1  Most shocking is seeing Kari Ann Peniche’s face amongst the cast: when we posted those participating in the season months ago, we thought little of her inclusion. But after watching her act out on Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew, we can’t even imagine what she’s going to bring to the table this time. And then there’s Mackenzie Phillips, who in the time between shooting this show and now, revealed to the world that she and her famous father, John Phillips, engaged in an incestuous relationship. That bombshell could only add to the intensity of an already intense viewing experience.

The Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (Season 3) cast includes:   Mackenzie Phillips - One Day At A Time, Heidi Fleiss, Tom Sizemore, Dennis Rodman, country music artist Mindy McCready, Lisa D’Amato - America's Next Top Model, Mike Starr - Alice in Chains, Joey Kovar -  Real World cast member, and Kari Ann Peniche (of Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew).

Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew Season 3 will chronicle the patients’ intensive 21-day program with both group and one-on-one therapy and non-traditional therapies like art and music. Returning to the show to help Dr. Drew are drug counselor Bob Forrest and resident technician Shelly Sprague who have each spent years on both sides of the rehab fence. Dr. Drew is also bringing in some additional prominent physicians to help him give the patients supplementary one-on-one care.
