Actress Megan Fox and husband Brian Austin Green have purchased one of Bing Crosby's former properties -- the carriage house of his iconic "White Christmas" home photo fame. According to the National Ledger in a Hollywood news report about celebrity real estate posted on Jun. 26, 2014, the celebrity couple have listed their own property for sale. The star celebs have not been able to sell their old house yet but have already allegedly been making the move to the new place.
The news release says,
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green are celebrity House Hunters, the couple have found a home to buy in Toluka Lake, specifically they have bought Bing Crosby's old home.
The couple - who have sons Noah, 20 months, and Bodhi, four months, together - splashed out $3.35 million on the 6,710 square foot ranch home, which was originally a carriage house on the 'White Christmas' crooner's estate in Toluka Lake, California.
The four-bedroom, six-bathroom property underwent a contemporary makeover during extensive work in 2008, and now has lots of exposed wooden beams and slate flooring in the open-plan living space.
According to the source, the Crosby carriage house also features a swimming pool and fire pit area (perfect for outdoor entertaining). A Jacuzzi completes the luxury home vibe.
Fox, whose second new movie trailer for the next generation installment of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" film was released on Jun. 28 according to Kpopstarz, might have been a diva back when she was filming the Transformer movies for director Michael Bay back in the day, but her main focus has been being a mom as of late. Not only has Bay re-hired her for the TMNT film, but her hope is to ensure that when she is working that her children are not stuck in a makeup and wardrobe trailer all day.
With her husband Brian Austin Green staying home to take care of the kiddies while she's filming, hopefully the children and proud papa will be able to enjoy the somewhat modest celebrity home on days when mama is busy filming.
When asked how she feels about being a working mom who has to leave her kids at home when she is busy on set, Fox answered celebrity interviewers' questions quite simply. If you ask Fox how she feels about going to work and having to leave her beautiful home, according to Baby Center News, she says emphatically, "I hate leaving."
