Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are designing an over-the-top mega mansion in Los Angeles and while construction on the home began over one year ago, it is nowhere near complete.

Kim and Kanye having been living like members of the millionaire dating site, MillionaireMatch, since they began dating in early 2012, so it's no surprise that they want their home just perfect, but their elaborate ideas for the home have had serious consequences.

Since moving out of the home fans saw her in on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," Kim has been forced to move back to the Calabasas home of Kris Jenner. While Kris recently separated from her husband, Bruce Jenner, and Kourtney, Khloe and Robert all have homes of their own, the Jenner residence, although large, is quite crowded with Kendall, Kylie, Kim, and North West all calling the place home (Kanye also lives their part-time).

On "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," fans watched as Kim, who was being bombarded at her former home by fans and paparazzi, moved back in with mom for what was supposed to be a couple of months. However, as her and West began to alter the home as construction continued, their move-in date got further and further away.

According to a new report by Radar Online, Kim purchased the 9,000-square-foot Bel Air home for $9 million in Jan. 2013, but the home was far from livable for the sex tape star turned TV personality, and she immediately gutted the home and began plans to rebuild it to her and Kanye's liking.

As building on the property rages on, details are surfacing about what the future home of Kim and Kanye will be like.

Earlier this week, Radar Online reported that the home would be power-couple ready with maid quarters, including a maid bedroom and maid bathroom, and a $750,000 “glam room,” which would be customized to fit the needs of Kim and her man, ensuring that they are always looking their best without having to leave home and head to a salon.

Inside the main house, Kim and Kanye will have décor from top designers, a library, a studio, an extra bedroom and bathroom for when their many family members come to visit, and a fully functional gym with its own bathroom and closet.

For their master suite, Kim and Kanye have arranged for a his and hers theme with his and her closets and even his and hers toilets.

Other updates of the home include a new fireplace mantle in their living room, re-stained wood flooring, Balzac limestone floors, metal and glass doors, stone sinks and sconces and tempered glass showers. And they didn't stop there.

Kim and Kanye continued on, living in a way that members of prefer, with a $30,000 renovation in the kitchen and restructured ceilings, taking out the original ceilings and replacing them with much higher ceilings.

Outside of the home, Kim and Kanye have designed an infinity pool (measuring 16-foot by 16-foot) and cabana, which brought the home cost up an additional $83,000. Also outside, the couple have ordered bluestone paving, a pergola, a bar, fire pita and planter boxes for olive trees, which will line the property.
