The celebrity property gossip is true. Petra Ecclestone, daughter of Formula One racing magnate Bernie Ecclestone, just bought the mega mansion -- sight unseen with lots of the celebrity property [personal affects like furnishings] still in it. She borrowed the money from her mother who got rich when she divorced the celebrity daddy.
Now, the funds are squirelled away safely in the property investment and the fashion diva daughter who designs mens clothing has herself the most fabulous starter home in the history of the world.

Two years ago, Candy Spelling put the 4.7-acre Holmby Hills home belonging to her and her legendary late hubby, Aaron Spelling, on the market for $150 million (you really can't put a price on your own personal gift wrap room).
Today, the palatial estate (actually, it puts most palaces to shame) is reportedly in escrow, after the 22-year-old heiress daughter of a British billionaire put in a bid to buy the place. And yeah, we said 22, people.
