George Clooney made a special guest appearance on The David Letterman Show October 5th, 2011. There to promote his new movie The Ides of March, he looked well-built and well-preserved himself, wearing a structurally perfect navy blue pin striped tailored suit.
During his celebrity interview, the famous movie star joked with late night TV talk show host David Letterman. He spoke about quite a few topics like growing old, his celebrity status, and Hollywood friends like buddy Brad Pitt and new Time Magazine cover-photo twin Ryan Gosseling.
But gossip was not the only thing the Hollywood movie star was dishing out. He also mentioned celebrity real estate -- namely, his luxury home on the shores of Lake Como in Italy. And, of course, he had a funny story to tell.
Clooney joked with Letterman and the viewing audience that the longer he has lived there, the more people he meets around town seem to say he originally paid for his house.
As a good neighbor, George Clooney has spent significant time and money working to keep the beaches and shoreline of the lake clean.
He's worked actively with local officials to make the community a better place for all who live there and done whatever he can to ameliorate the damaged caused by paparazzi, tourists, and boaters who seem to be willing to do whatever it takes to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood funny man in his home environment.
