Minister Tony Adams is a faithful, fired-up man of God who is on a mission for God. He is a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield, CA. This is a Church where the Spirit leads, the Word feeds and the ministry meets life's needs. One of the many ministries at Mt. Calvary that is meeting life's needs is Evangelism/Mission which Minister Adams is Director.
Minister Adams and his Evangelism team are tireless workers in the Fairfield community and beyond. The Ministry takes them from Solano County to as far as Haiti and Ghana West Africa. On any given day, you can find him helping his team to deliver food to the hungry, going door to door praying for those needing and wanting prayer and ministering to the lost. "We take the church beyond the four walls. We take the church to them", says Minister Adams. The Ministry also partners with Habitat for Humanities and when he is not wearing one of his Ministry hats, he is in his hard hat helping to build houses for those in need of a home. He also ministers to the youth in Juvenile Hall and on Feb. 4, 2012, he was presented with a Commendation from the Solano County Probation Department Juvenile Detention Faciclity in recognition of his outstanding service to the Facility.
The mission of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, which includes the Evangelism/Mission Ministry, is to lead individuals into a DYNAMIC relationship with Jesus Christ and equip them for service to God and humanity. Minister Adams and his team are the MIA (Mission In Action).
