Celebrity journalist Jawn Murray joins Super Bowl Gospel Celebration

Jawn Murray, celebrity journalist and Editor-in-Chief of AlwaysAList.com has joined the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration as the official Social Media Ambassador. The announcement was made via press release today, Tuesday, Jan. 29.

Murray is considered a pop culture expert and appears weekly on CNN’s sister channel HLN and discusses the hottest viral videos and online trends. According to the release, Murray will host a social media lounge for invited tastemakers, influencers and media professionals during the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration as part of Super Bowl XLVII weekend. Tonight, the DC-based Murray hosted an interactive Twitter chat for Super Bowl Gospel and gave away tickets and prizes to participants.

The Super Bowl Gospel Celebration takes place Friday, Feb 1, at 7:30 p.m. at the University of New Orleans, Lake Front Arena. The show is in its 14th year and is the first and only concert sanctioned by the National Football League (NFL).

Emmy Award-winning co-host of ABC’s “The View,” Sherri Shepherd and Grammy Award-winner Kirk Franklin will co-host the show. Performers include Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Winans, Bishop Paul S. Morton, and the NFL “Players’ Choice” hip-hop Christian artist Lecrae.
