Here's a strange bit of celebrity real estate trivia. The house that Kim Kardashian shows the public on the reality TV show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" is not really her own. According to the star, it is a fake front facade designed to trick crazed fans into believing it is her celebrity neighborhood home.
Watch the latest video clip about the starlet and you will quickly find out that while the Kardashian family appears to be genuine about their desire to stay in the limelight by putting their entire public life in the public eye that privacy concerns seem to have necessitated the television start dupe the American public about what their real celebrity home actually looks like. At least in part, says the celebrity brunette.
Kardashian says that while pictures of the outside of their family home might be faked, that the show features real footage from the inside. Whether that is true or not (or the E! channel helps the group ready the home's interior decorating by artificially staging rooms especially for the camera eye), the reality TV show remains popular and gives viewers a glimpse into the life of a rich and famous family the show's viewers seem to idolize.
TMZ has more information about the celebrity home used for the exterior shots (as does Forbes magazine). It went on the market in March of 2014 for over $6M, a price inflated in part for its star quality.
