David Babaii, celebrity hairstylist to the stars, was recently named the ghd brand ambassador for North America. Babaii has partnered with A-list celebrities in hair care as well as had his stamp on professional color and styling brands in a vast hairstyling career that has grown over the past 12 years.

The new North America brand ambassador for ghd has had his work appear on the covers of Elle, Vogue and Vanity Fair and has styled celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Lawrence, Christina Aguilera, and Sarah Jessica Parker. Most recently David Babaii has partnered with longtime friend Gwyneth Paltrow in the opening and expansion of Blo Blow Dry Bars. Babaii's success in the hair industry has tied him with top-name professional brands because of his high standard of selecting only the best tools and products for his celebrity clients.

According to Francesca Raminella, president of ghd North America, David Babaii is one of Hollywood’s (and the hair care profession’s) “most talented, loved and admired” celebrity hairstylists. “His enormous enthusiasm and passion for ghd is matched by his brilliant creativity,” said Francesca in a statement about Babaii who is North America’s “first-ever” ghd brand ambassador.

The celebrity stylist feels he’s found a “perfect fit” with ghd. David claims to only use the brand’s styling tools because the heat temperature stays steady at 365 degrees, which Babaii stated keeps his clients hair “healthy and shiny.” David Babaii “demands the best for his clients and himself” to ensure all have a “good hair day.”

David Babaii joins ghd with other world-class hair talent such as Sam McKnight, Kenna, Zoe Irwin and Jayne Wild, and the “newly appointed global brand ambassador, Adam Reed, in London.” The hair styling tool brand has special projects lined up for David to finish off 2014, which will ensure users of ghd products have a “good hair day.”
