Oprah Winfrey stole the show at Monday night’s premier of Lee Daniels’ The Butler thanks in part to her long time hairstylist, celebrity coif king Andre Walker. Oprah’s show-stopping, form-fitting fuchia dress also made waves as she pranced down the proverbial red carpet. The Los Angeles film premier which was hosted Stack Wines drew a huge celebrity crowd that included Jane Fonda, Minka Kelly, Gladys Knight and more.
But it was Oprah’s curly do that rocked the room. Walker used his haircare line to tame her frizzy, unruly hair and turn it into a gorgeous flowing heap of waves.
Andre Walker Haircare Products include The Gold System of shampoo, moisturizer, styling cream as well as oils and Keratin conditioner that sell for less than $50.
Oprah Winfrey’s hairstylist of record for 25-years, Walker’s work has been featured in in numerous fashion magazines. He has also worked his magic on the manes of luminaries such as Michelle Obama, Barbara Bush and Halle Berry (he did her signature short pixie haircut). The accomplished coif doctor has also won seven Daytime Emmy Awards as well as the 2009 Thurgood Marshall Fashion Icon Award.
