Los Angeles magazine's TV Celebrity Chef Cook-Off at The Park at The Grove presented a tasteful evening of competition between Jeffrey Saad, the runner-up in The Next Food Network Star Season 5, and Marcel Vigeron, Top Chef Season 2 runner up and current sous chef at The Bazaar by Jose Andres at SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. These two talented chefs battled it out at The Grove in Los Angeles to win over four lucky taste-testers.
The night started off with cooking demonstrations from some of the finest restaurants at The Grove including The Farm of Beverly Hills, Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro, Maggiano’s Little Italy and The Cheesecake Factory. Each chef prepared a course for the audience, carefully detailing the cooking process, and the best part? Every audience member who had a table was served their delectable food, not to mention the free flowing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
The night capped off with a friendly cooking competition with Jeffrey preparing a fish and shrimp dish with Chinese long green beans and Marcel using his molecular gastronomy skills to whip up a scallop and Greek lamb chop dish.
