Today, June 18, Paul McCartney turns 68 years old, although with his current touring schedule, you would think he has the energy and vitality of someone much younger. McCartney is currently touring around the world on his "Up and Coming" Tour with upcoming dates in Toronto, Pittsburgh and Hard Rock Calling in London on June 27.
McCartney recently played two shows in Mexico City and headlined at the Isle of Wight Festival in Newport, England last Sunday. [See PHOTOS below]
McCartney, who is featured on the cover of Q Magazine this month, is quoted as saying: "Stop? B*ll*cks! I'm having too much fun."
On June 2, the former Beatle was honored by President Obama at the White House with the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song.
Meanwhile, McCartney's daughter, Mary, age 40, secretly married her boyfriend of three years, Simon Aboud, at London's Marylebone Register Office last Saturday. This is the same place where Mary's parents, Paul and Linda, were married in 1969. On June 15, Aboud posted two photos (http://post.ly/ja2a and http://post.ly/jbz7) from the wedding on his Twitter page.
