Mixed media artist Ben Moon and the renowned artist William Quigley, known as “The Pleasurists,” have joined forces to help raise awareness this Friday through art and charity in a benefit to the Soldier Ride. The event is called “Sip to the Soldiers” which will be taking place during ArtHamptons ArtMarket Weekend July 10 – 13th, a portion of proceeds will benefit the Soldier Ride, a Wounded Warriors Charity Program.

Quigley and Moon will collaborate in this joint venture and bring back to the Hamptons their second annual charity through art soiree, taking place in the midst of Art Hamptons weekend. The opening night party will be held at William Quigley’s studio on Schenck’s Alley, Skrapper Studios. The joint exhibit will be a composition of sights and sounds, and will showcase the art of William Quigley and Ben Moon. Last year the pair showcased work through powerhouse dealer Mark Borghi Fine Art that engineered the sale to Mr. Donald Trump of the William Quigley’s mastered Donald Trump portrait. Through the efforts of both Artist at 2013 joint event, Quigley and Moon donated $10,000 to East Hampton’s Legendary Guild Hall. This year Quigley will include the portraits of Mick Jagger and Ethan Hawke to the celebration that will help to raise awareness and funds for “The Soldier Ride”. Moon will showcase his new Before/After painting series, as well as his mystical musical visual wonderland, “Roklyfe” performances by DJ Monikkr, and RockStarlet Bella Saona, “Bella and The Beast”. Actor and Comedian Andy Dick has signed on in support for this endevour and will take part in the benefit this year. The work of local artist Alex George McCue will be debuted.

The duo has collaborated with local artists and businesses including Chris Carney, Peter Honerkamp and Nick Kraus, owners of Stephen's Talkhouse, and The founders of the Wounded Warrior Founders/ Soldier Ride. From July 11th through July 19th, a portion of sales from SkrapperStyle Tshirts, Ben Moon merchandise, Quigley prints and Casamigos Cocktails will be donated to Soldier Ride, during a Wounded Warriors event on July 19th, 2014 in Amagansett, NY. Moon is currently painting the exterior of a 1985 Rolls Royce "Silver Spur" with his signature black and white designs, which will debut at Friday's opening night party. The car is owned by New York Collector Frank Marzano. This car will be auctioned at the end of the summer, with 100% of proceeds going to the Wounded Warriors charity.
